Michelle Briner Garrido

D.D.S., Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist

Dr. Michelle Briner is originally from Chile, where she received her DDS in 2015 and certificate in dental aesthetics in 2016 at the Universidad de Los Andes. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Florida as an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Specialist. Currently, she works as an assistant professor at the department of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine at UMKC, where she teaches radiology courses to dental and dental hygiene students and residents. She’s also involved in research, mainly related to cranial base morphology of patients with osteogenesis imperfecta and computed deep learning algorithms for staging mandibular third molar development on panoramic radiographs. She has presented nationally, and internationally, various topics related to maxillofacial radiology. In her free time, Dr. Briner enjoys being outside spending time with her family.
