Do I need to pre-register for the educational courses?
The only courses that require pre-registration are ones that require additional fees which are the Thursday lectures and the Saturday Hands-On Workshops. For all other Friday-Sunday courses, you may choose the ones that interest you and attend those sessions.
Will MDC courses sell out?
It is a possibility that Hands-On Workshops will sell out. Register early to ensure your spot.
Are Thursday Pre-Conference Specialty Sessions included in the MDC registration?
Thursday's Pre-Conference Specialty Programs are offered independently and not included in the Midwest Dental Conference (MDC) Friday-Sunday registration fee, special fees and restrictions apply for Thursday courses. Thursday pre-conference specialty programs are all-day sessions. In order to receive six C.E. hours, you must attend the full day session of the lecture for which you registered. You must specify the Thursday Specialty lecture you will be attending if selecting Thursday when registering.
What do I need to do before MDC?
The week of the event, you will receive a reminder email with a copy of your registration confirmation barcode. Bring your confirmation with you to quickly access your badge and attendee materials at the registration desk, off the lobby of the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.
Where should I stay?
The conference will be held in both the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center and the Westin Crown Center. There is a skybridge, coined “The Link”, that will allow attendees to easily travel between the two hotels. The conference has negotiated discounted conference rates at both hotels. Where should I park?
Both the Sheraton and Westin hotels offer valet and self-parking. The Crown Center Shops also offer parking. For more information on parking click here.
Can I bring a guest?
You may register a guest for a fee of $55. Dentists, dental hygienists or assistants, and office staff may not be registered as a spouse or guest. NO EXCEPTIONS. Those registered as Spouse, guest, student or resident will not receive CE credit.
Is there an Exhibit Hall only registration?
No there is not an Exhibit Hall only registration. Those attending must register for the conference. Paid registration is required to attend ANY courses, exhibits or program. A spouse or guest may attend sessions and exhibits by registering and paying the appropriate fee.
How will I get my CE’s?
At the end of each course you attend a 4-digit code will be read aloud by the room host along with shown visually. You will receive a worksheet with your attendee materials to record and track your codes. At the end of the conference you will be able to visit the MDC CE website to enter your codes for your CE verification letter. It is your responsibility to retain your letter and provide it to your Boards as requested or required.
