Kenneth Abramovitch, B.S., D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Abramovitch is Professor with tenure and Chair of the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine at UMKC SoD. He has held similar appointments at Loma Linda University and UTHSC-Houston and Dalhousie University.

In Houston he was in oral medicine and radiology private practice for 21 years. He received his D.D.S. from McGill University and his M.S from UTHSC-San Antonio. He is a Diplomate of American Boards for Oral Radiology and for Oral Medicine. Dr. Abramovitch is a Past President of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He has been an invited speaker at over 130 national and international (China, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and Saudi Arabia) professional meetings. Dr. Abramovitch has contributed over 60 articles to or peer reviewed journals, written 5 textbook chapters and co-authored Cone Beam CT of the Head and Neck: An Anatomical Atlas (Springer-Verlag, 2011).
