The 33rd Annual Dr. Robert Allen Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Lecture: The Beauty of Surgical Implant Dentistry

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

Continuing from the earlier presentation, this session will show you the many benefits of incorporating the newest technologies, biomaterials and surgical techniques. Learn how to improve patient outcomes and reduce the time-to-completion treatment period without compromising patient care.

Course Objectives:
1. Know when, where and how to begin incorporating the newest technologies and techniques into your implant practice.
2. Learn effective ways to bring your referrals with you on your journey through digitization of your surgical practice.
3. Be able to calculate your ROI from digitizing your surgical implant practice.

PRESENTER:

Peter Moy, DMD

Peter Moy, DMD, received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a certificate in general practice residency from Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from UCLA Hospital and Clinics. His oral and maxillofacial surgery practice focuses on advanced surgical techniques in implant dentistry. Moy is a clinical professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA and the first recipient of the Nobel Biocare Endowed Chair in Surgical Implant Dentistry at UCLA’s School of Dentistry. He is a fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy and surgical fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, where he served as president from 2010-2011. Moy is a founding board member and past chair of OsteoScience Foundation and continues to serve on its board of directors. He also serves on the board of trustees for the Foundation of Oral Reconstruction (FOR) and is the co-chair of the education committee. He is a reviewing editor for Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has written more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally and internationally while maintaining a private practice at West Coast Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Center in Los Angeles, California.
