David Reznik is the director and founder of the Oral Health Center of Grady Health System’s Infectious Disease Program and serves as Chief of the Dental Medicine Service. Dr. Reznik is president of the HIV Dental Alliance, a not-for-profit organization of concerned health care providers committed to assuring access to dental care for people with HIV. In 2020, he received the Atlanta Business Chronicles Healthcare Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Reznik is the recipient of OSAP’s 2021 Dr. James Crawford Award. This lifetime achievement award recognizes individuals who have made major contributions in science, education or public policy related to dental infection control and patient and provider safety.
