COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

With the myriad of esthetic dental materials and techniques available today, dental assistants need to be more familiar than ever with all aspects of clinical practice. Understanding treatment goals and unique treatment considerations is essential to obtaining the desired outcome. Both contribute before, during and after the treatment delivery to foreseeing potential complications and making the process predictable. Achieving highly satisfying results should be the goal of everyone in the office, as well as the patient. This interactive lecture gives your team valuable perspectives from both sides of the chair.

Course Objectives:
1. Learn new technologies in dentistry that can be utilized by the dental team such as digital scanning, printing, radiology and photography.
2. Understand step-by-step procedural techniques to allow the practice to immediately increase the aesthetic and anatomic quality of restorations they create.
3. Know provisionalization, cementation and isolation techniques to deliver the best dental treatment for patients.

PRESENTER:

Shannon Brinker, CDA

Shannon Pace Brinker, CDA has been an international speaker, published author and practicing dental assistant for more than 30 years. She has published more than 200 articles relating to clinical application and taught thousands of dental assistants across the United States and Canada. Brinker has taught at the Nash Institute, Dawson Academy and Spear Education - instructing through both lectures and hands-on programs.
