About the Course
Do you know what happens when you eat? How does food turn on or off your genetic heritage? How does the food you ingest interact with your amazing biome? Why are colors of food important? Food impacts immunity, the brain and all aspects of your health. You are experiencing the effects of your eating whether you recognize them or not. Eat for power, pleasure and physical well-being. Use up-to-date nutrition information to create strategies to add quality to your quantity of life. Eating well is not a burden; in fact, the joys and unintended consequences might surprise and delight you.
This session will enable participants to:
•Learn to tone down inflammation with food and life choices
•Implement strategies for more satisfying and healthy eating
•Fully realize the ways daily choices create life-long differences
Mary Ellen Psaltis, BPh
Mary Ellen Psaltis is a Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant and Senior Nutrition Specialist who coaches people to live with greater health and vitality. As a long-time food and life choices writer she has learned from many including farmers, food producers, restaurateurs, beekeepers, teachers, therapists and other health care professionals. She regularly assists on pediatric dental missions in Mexico. Mary Ellen fosters kittens and cats for her local animal services agency. She practices yoga daily. Mary Ellen provides care for her 96-year-old mother, which provides abundant opportunities to value the present, laugh, cry and remember to live life fully.
