COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Listen, learn and laugh your way through a fast-paced, humorous review of “a day in the life” of a dynamic, real-world private dental practice. Learn how to capitalize on each other’s skills to improve the productivity of your practice and the quality of the service your team produces. Learn systems you can implement today to lower stress, prevent burnout and increase your enjoyment of dentistry.
Course Objectives:
1. Review clinical cases from the doctor’s and team’s perspectives.
2. Debate the idea, “Communication is a wonderful thing; you should try it sometime.”
3. Employ systems to lower stress and prevent burnout.
PRESENTER:
Mark Hyman, DDS, MAGD
Mark E. Hyman, DDS, MAGD, is a renowned dentist from Greensboro, North Carolina, and a public speaker whose work is characterized by his warmth, enthusiasm, sense of humor and passion for dentistry. As an accomplished seminar speaker, he has lectured throughout North America and Europe at every major dental meeting. Hyman has earned national and international recognition for his seminars. Since 2001, Dentistry Today magazine has selected Hyman as one of the top speakers in dentistry. He loved his 32 years in private practice, and currently serves as an adjunct full professor and special assistant to the office of the dean at UNC Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
